Villa Vaski, located in Vaskiranta in Hailuoto, complements the courtyard of a 1930s shop building into an intimate and small-scale complex. The solid wood villa and sauna create a new layer of time in the built environment, which borrows the shape of the gabled roof and the tone of the red soil from the old one.
