Priimi Punapaula – A log-structured daycare center, is our winning entry, in collaboration with Suomen Hoivatilat Oyj, for a new daycare center in Jyväskylä. A log-structured learning environment is a sustainable and ecological solution. The wooden façade, clad in red-ochre, together with the modern design language, form a playful whole that is traditional but at the same time modern. The facilities create a safe learning environment and encourage the child to be active and mobile, supporting dance- and music-focused pedagogy.
