Waterfront Houses

Tervahovi Waterfront Houses are located along the canal in Toppilansalmi, Oulu, as part of a wider masterplan designed by PAVE Architects. As the final phase of the area, they introduce a more domestic, small-scale residential character while defining the waterfront edge. The architecture is based on precise detailing and an interpretation of the harbour’s rugged materiality, with a distinct use of colour contributing to the identity of the area. The project combines the scale of detached living with the efficiency and ease of apartment housing.
