Tervahovi Mill

Tervahovi Mill forms part of the wider Tervahovi development within the former industrial landscape of Toppilansalmi, alongside the Tervahovi Silos and Waterfront Houses. Built on the site of the former SOK mill, the new building reinterprets the scale and character of the original structure through contemporary architecture while preserving the area’s recognisable identity along the waterfront. Loft inspired apartments, assisted living facilities and carefully articulated façade elements, including new window openings, recessed surfaces and colourful balconies, give the building its own distinct character. The development brings together the area’s industrial heritage and contemporary living as part of the evolving urban waterfront of Toppilansalmi.
