Daycare Centre Hintta

Hintta Daycare Centre is a competition-winning project developed in collaboration with Suomen Hoivatilat, located within an existing educational environment in Oulu. Together with the neighbouring 1950s school building, the new daycare centre forms a balanced composition where architecture from different eras complements one another. The design is based on clear building volumes and a carefully considered scale, allowing the building to integrate naturally into its surroundings. Durable materials and a timeless architectural expression give the building a long-lasting character while providing a high-quality setting for the first years of children’s learning journey.
