Helsinki Luotsikatu 1A

The conversion of the former Paulig coffee roastery into loft apartments is based on the continuation of the building’s industrial identity in a new use. The design aimed to rethink conventional rental housing towards a more distinctive and higher quality way of living, where the building’s original scale, material character and atmosphere remain part of everyday life. Contemporary spatial and interior solutions complete a whole in which historical layers and present day residential needs come together naturally.
