EGS x Mattila x Mikkonen
Tervahovi Mill

The art installation in the courtyard of Tervahovi Mill was realised through a collaboration across creative disciplines, with Pave Mikkonen working together with Jaakko Mattila and EGS. The work incorporates original concrete structures from the demolished grain silos, preserved and reused as part of the installation, while the spray-painted surface interprets the site’s history and the themes of grain and industrial processes through colour, movement and form. As part of the overall scheme for Tervahovi Mill designed by PAVE Architects, the installation highlights the material layers of the building and integrates art into the architecture and identity of the place.
