EGS x Jaakko Mattila
Nokkalanranta

The environmental artwork at Nokkalanranta is composed of concrete fragments from the former Tervahovi silos, which have been relocated and arranged as part of the riverside landscape. The work has been realised by EGS and Jaakko Mattila using spray techniques, bringing layers of the area’s history and industrial heritage to the surface of the material. The concrete elements are positioned in relation to their original location, maintaining a connection to the Toppilansalmi harbour area and forming a spatial composition where art and environment intertwine.
